What we don’t collect
FizzyWay has no newsletter, no analytics, no ads and no comment section right now. There are no accounts for readers, and no tracking or advertising cookies. If any of that changes, this page will be updated first.
Emails you send us
If you email contact@fizzyway.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and, where you’ve pointed out a mistake, to fix the post. We don’t add you to any list or share your email. We keep emails until your question is resolved, and no longer than 2 years, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Cookies
- WordPress cookies. WordPress sets login cookies only for people who sign in to manage the site. Readers aren’t asked to log in, so these don’t apply to you.
- Security cookie. Our hosting provider’s firewall may set a short-lived cookie to check that your browser is not an automated bot. It’s used only for security.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Banahosting, stores standard server logs for every request to the site: your IP address, the page you asked for, the date and time, your browser’s user agent and the referring page. These logs are used to run and secure the site. They are kept for as long as set by our hosting provider, Banahosting.
Fonts from Google
The site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details. See Google’s privacy policy for how Google handles that data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it’s used. Email contact@fizzyway.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Children
FizzyWay is written for adults. Some recipes are made for children, but they’re written for the parents making them. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
