What helps us answer
If a batch went wrong, tell us:
- which recipe you followed (the page link is perfect)
- what you used as the binder (witch hazel, water, alcohol) and roughly how much
- your mold, and how long the steamers dried before you unmolded them
- what happened: crumbling, cracking, fizzing in the mold, no fizz in the shower
That’s usually enough to find the cause. The shower steamers section has troubleshooting guides for the common problems if you want to check first.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake in a recipe, a measurement or a safety note, please tell us. We’d rather fix it than leave it up. Corrections go into the post, and a change to a recipe’s quantities is noted at the bottom of that post.
What we can’t help with
We’re not doctors or chemists. We can’t advise on skin conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or using essential oils for a health problem. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist about those.
